What you're referring to is called predictive maintenance and it's becoming adopted in advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0 is the buzz term I guess... it's a huge opportunity and pretty advanced use of IoT - I don't think Buddy are nearly technologically advanced enough for that sort of thing... yet. It would certainly be an amazing opportunity somewhere down the line if they can get into that particular business line!
