Sure that wouldn't be an issue but of limited commercial value, things like monitoring and gathering data from sensors attached to machines then producing algorithms that can detect patterns of data which are likely to indicate imminent component failure so that machine downtime can be eliminated - now that's something of commercial value... companies are already doing this so it's definitely an interesting advanced use case for IoT.
Buddy can probably collect the data but I'm not sure they have the analytic capabilities to develop predictive algorithms... for now at least.
