"More interestingly is the isotopes that have longer half-lives - Atrium90 has been in use for many years now, significantly supplanted by Lutetium177 which is a very important isotope to us in TLX250 for kidney therapy and TLX591 for prostate therapy, but also some of imaging isotopes like zirconium89 have longer half-lives as well, so these lend themselves naturally because of their half-lives to a centralized manufacturing approach; and really, each of these from our point of view, can and will be manufactured - it's obviously indicative because we haven't gone through the detail yet but each of these have the possibility and the potential to be manufactured at the APME."

"On the top right it's those longer half-lives isotopes that we would envisage being made there, and critically important because most of these isotopes otherwise originate from the northern hemisphere. you know we've got here in Australia some jewels in the crowd like ANSTO (see here) that supply lutetium in the market, but Zirconium for example in our phase III trial caused us major problems because it originated from Toronto in Canada. So having that sovereign reliability of supply is critical for a finished drug manufacturer like Telix."
