No idea but since its a quite day i'll just suggest this,if one has something better to do like clipping yr toe nails then don't waste yr time reading the folowing.
Allegro acquired toll group express relatively recently and changed its name to team global express and employed Christine Holgate as ceo..
Allegro is still looking for Australian investments in the sector,just a suggestion maybe they are buying shares not for a take over of AZJ but to maybe get 1 or 2 on the board to influence efficiency developments of the unique AZJ Australian national freight rail network.
And if it requires finance for specific improvements/project developments Allegro are ready to invest..
If they improve azj network efficiency thats good for TGE and good for Allegro as a substantial shareholder and good for AZJ holders.
Not good for the govt owned Australia post but thats what happens when u push out a ceo like christine holgate with real entreprenueral skills.Such ceo's with these skills are few and far between in Australia and globally.
Oh i forgot and good for cartier watches come bonus time.
