Seals, I'm not sure I agree with your views about exploiting Africa. True enough many mega nationals have come in and ripped the wealth out of Africa and given nothing back to an impoverished continent. And that is why the Angolan governement has started a programme of "Angolanization" whereby locals can have an ownership in local mining assets. Traditionally Majors have thrown large one off sums at these government in return for outright ownership. However li'l ole CVI is not in that league. Instead we are partnering with the locals to assist with some funding plus our skill sets. Partners include for example falcon and fortitude.

With the CVI model there's something for everyone. I think we all realize that, like any investment, we are in it for a profit and not to just solely help the poor old Angolans. But at least we can all sleep well in the knowledge that the CVI business model does not mean outright exploitation as was the way in the old days.
