Having some experience in this field, I am seeing Datacentres pop up everywhere in Sydney, many must be operating at a loss as the rooms are empty, State gov won't use NXT and i doubt Federal will too. NXT will have to attract companies with a price incentive. I am somewhat involed with the AUST Post relocation. Haven't bother to see who they are moving too.
I have been involved with Global Switch, Fujitsu, Mac telecom, and all the major DCs around Aus and won't be touching NXT. The price may change due to speculation however it wont be on results to date.
We are seeing a shift to Cloud environments and expect this to rapidly increase, due to the need for less dc space, fewer machines, and utimately cheaper prices for clients.
