GWR do not have to get their shares back. The amount held by FAS now is way less than what is required for board control especially with PMM on board and FAS demonstrating a clear lack of support beyond Doutch's camp in GWR shareholders.

FAS can hold their GWR shares but this was no different to when Doutch held them. I've yet to see FAS actually take possession of the shares and whilst I haven't been keeping track last I saw FAS only held a beneficial interest in the shares - not owning them.

THis means the owner of the shares can still walk away from FAS. Lets see how their balance sheet looks next reporting season.

I've said it time and time again that FAS did not have the financial means to complete this takeover. I really feel for you FAS supporters but my advice at the beginning of this fiasco remains vindicated - hold GWR and not some dodgy indirect exposure to the asset through FAS.
