Naïve to assume they havent considered this. The boom swing is likely already being heavily damped both actively and passively, just we may not see how this is working.
On such a massive heavy boom, swing is inevitable especially with so many moving internal parts, wind, laying head and movement induced by the truck internals. Gyroscopes have inherent error while FBR has a laser datum to provide absolute measurements rendering extra gyroscopes somewhat redundant.
