I have been on HC for a year or so and have gained a vast amount of knowledge on stocks poltics economics etc. I'm still at univeristy and I can honestly say I have probably learnt more about the world by reading posts on this site than studying my university course.
IMO in the next 5 years this site could became an online broker. There was an article the other week about brokerage firms being annoyed about HC moving into IPO's, I personally think the days of having your own human broker are limited. I think HC could become a massive webiste/brand/company in the future.
It seems quiet a lot of companies pay attention to HC so it obviously has some influence in the stock market already. In the future I would like to see HC become more like "thebull.com.au" with articles and interviews but still keep the forum. Forums are really starting to take off as businesses, one forum I visit (arsenal-mania) has even been accquired/merged with another website.
Any thoughts on the future of HC?
