@ lucky. I don't know what circles you travel in, but they must be totall different to those which I have seen.

I was the senior Computer Engineer for my last company for 20 years. In the industry for 30 including a couple of years in NZ. I traveled all over the East Coast of Oz and around the South Pacific and PNG. Thus, I met more people that most would in several lifetimes. We often worked in close contact, and socialized together afterwards, and discussed many things including investing. The clients were as diverse as all types of commercial businesses, religious groups, and government departments. Not one I met ever said he/she traded privately in gold. We often discussed gold at length.

However, I am merely a poor but honest Queenslander, whose only vice is honesty....Marum
