Maybe company should wholesale the stones rather than auction them. Agree the larger stones to go to auction but the smaller standard stuff could just be sold wholesale at standard set rates. Set up a small office in India or Singapore where buyers can buy stock when ever they want.
Create a standard wholesaling business model. Would improve cash flow significantly.
