The Future of the Sand Industry

    We all know that Graphite is hot because of the expanded applications that are now coming forward due to better technology.

    I can actually see parts of the sand industry doing the same, particularly high end sand mines that are producing Rutile. Here is an article that is worth reading.

    We've all seen 3D printers using plastic. This is where the future is, making end products with high end metals and 3D printers. The chinese could be in serious trouble, we may not need them to bang out cheap parts, we will be able to do it in the office.

    If you Youtube "Titanium metals, 3D printers", etc., just take a look at some of the things that have been made in the past 12 months.

    Here's just a sample of what I'm talking about.




    Iluka now own 18.3% of Metalysis and threw in another $28m a few months ago, hardly a mention of it anywhere.
    Rio Tinto Titanium own 10% also.
