Yeah my wife and I went to the big smoke on the weekend. Unbeknown to me, I took her into a bar that was serviced by skimpies. Needless to say that we left and ended up at a bar playing lame 80's music.
There's supposed to be a moral behind this story. But I'm buggered if I can remember what it is. Probably something related to progression. Which is why I don't mind this thread actually. The best companies find a way to progress and create value for their shareholders. I've just listened to a 10 year old "Broker stock analysis". Telstra was trading at $3.50...Boral $3.60...Origin $13.25...Santos $12.32....the list went on and on and that doesn't include the stocks I'd never heard of! Yet CSL was trading at $34 and Resmed $2.45. WES was trading in the 20's in that extensive period of sideways movement.
Good companies don't skimp. Good companies find a way to progress and grow with the future.
