This article and arguably the 'powers that be' do not as yet consider UCG as a contributor to 'gas production', however, that will change in the near future.

The article's picture of gas (even over renewables) looks promising, particularly as UCG will arguably be in the future, the leading contributor of gas supply over other techs (ie. CSG, shale gas etc.)

LNC is also positioned to meet the shortfall re decline in global oil production (GTL).

LNC in my opinion IS a future blue chip, and is one of the only stocks I hold that I have no intention of ever selling.
