As to the original post on this thread:
The leaders of this country have no idea about energy security. Especially the greens. Gas has been entirely overlooked in deference to solar. And what a joke that is as a long term solution.
The political leaders still bow down to the coal lobby (the digging kind), and allow coal to be sold to coal burners overseas, and think that is conscionable. Somehow our coal burnt overseas is not our contribution to CO2.
The greens probably don't understand UCG, and consider it coal burning. More concentrated on renewables, then a total cycle like LNC's.
I think LNC have to lobby governments, and distance themselves from CSG, and sell the cycle, not just portions of it. Create a dialogue and a vision.
Many irons in the fire, but how many people truly understand the LNC vision?
