Cannyinvestor : I have a gut feeling that Kenya and L6 in particular are likely to be the jewels in PCL's crown.I also like Namibia. Is your choice based on anything other than a gut feeling? There seems to be more evidence at this stage IMO that Kenya is a more likely goer. The first ever well on a reef gives a 44 m++ column of hydrocarbons. I understand the recent well in the Walvis basin didn't mention a column but managed ( purely from memory ) 450 ml of oil out of thin sands. I'm not trying to have a go at you but geological evidence to date leads me to think Kenya is way ahead.Half a litre of oil wouldn't get me to work! Much depends on the current well being drilled to the North West of the PCL Namibian lease. I'm hoping it's a gusher, but to impress me it will need a column in excess of 44 metres. I really am interested in your reasoning as to why we should give up the Kenyan leases and concentrate on an area that so far has such limited success.
