While there may be some demand for privately prescribed (non-subsidised) supply, for this to take off it needs to carry a government subsidy that will bring the price down to the standard Australian prescription charge of around $35 per course, and given the potentially huge demand, I don't think there's any way that the Australian government, or governments anywhere, will be looking at providing the level of subsidy that seems to be baked into some of the revenue projections we've been seeing here and elsewhere.

There’s big difference between Elmiron (and any other orally taken PPS) and injectable PPS. You Need to do some more research. A good place to start would be a post by cphil1970 and I’m sure he won’t mind me referring you to it. Post number 37898201 Good luck
