I don’t own any other stocks besides AVZ that currently operates in the Congo, so as far as I’m considered AVZ is the only point of focus for me here. With Glencore’s Mutanda also operating in nearby vicinity, I’d assume that govt security is quite strong, and it’s been proven thus far with the lack of any major disruptions within Katanga from secessionist activities since end of February (the Bakata-Katanga assailants on the Lubumbashi army bases were stopped and quite a few of them captured and killed), although I’m simply opening up the question and trying to get a sense of the AVZ shareholder community’s reaction to this potential risk (albeit relatively low risk at this point in time still). What’s everyone else’s opinion concerning this matter?
