Articles like these always make me wonder why the big majors don’t put in a TO bid for AVZ? Lithium is clearly going to be a key mineral in demand for years to come. AVZ has the best concentrated deposit of Li in the world. Surely securing this Tier 1 strategic asset is worth paying a premium for now.

Is the delay in OT news because a major is finishing it’s due diligence and preparing to make either a TO or JV offer? Is this the possible scenario that @tendoji eluded to?

Either way AVZ will be a big winner whether it goes it alone, in a JV with others or a TO IMO. Just surprised there hasn’t been any left field developments to date.

Who knows what’s around the corner ......
