It is interesting to draw a parallel with Heron Resources and the dynamic tension which exists on its share register between rival shareholders. In the case of Heron both BHP and CVRD hold large shareholdings and appear to be in serious competition for the nickel assets at Jump Up Dam and the Kalgoorlie Nickel Project.
Back to Falcon and we see the potential for the same tension to exist between BHP and Xstrata over Falcons assets at Collurabbie and Saxby. All we need is for BHP to take a position in Falcon to complement its JV arrangement at Collurabbie and the heat is on.
