Err, Um, if the libs are a broad church, why can't the labor party be the same?
And please the next person who says coal isn't subsidised, should IMO, be shot ( literally ), for those with brains know, this isn't the case, both in terms of direct subsidies ( brown coal Victoria ) , or long term off take arrangements with locked in prices ( steak & kidney).
I don't know enough about the man, at all, but I suspect, he is somewhat in the vein of rudd, unaligned, but with wide immediate public support, and a more unfettered view of the world.
While I lean this way, the labor apparatchik, which block him, are doing a major disservice to this country for their unblinding service, IMO.
