At these levels people new to buying gold might be OK. But we will get to a level where buying gold won't make sense.

In particular, with physical, people may get stuck with a great chunk of metal worth much less than what they paid.

The higher the price of gold goes, the worse of you will be buying physical, 'cos it's so difficult to unload and has extra costs. People jumping on the choo choo train too late will be dissapointed. Those jumping on with physical will be more so.
