I think we are looking at Gold/silver as an investment and thinking how much we can make(or lose) out of this in the short/medium term.

Not so, the fact that these metals are going up is not about making a quick buck. It is about people realising that the financial system is built on sand and the tide is coming in, or is that gong out? :)

Anyway, even talking about Gold in USD is not seeing the bigger picture.
It is bigger than that imo.

We are going through a time of change.
If you like things how they are and don't want to see this then thats ok.

North Africa and the Middle East aren't in turmoil for nothing.
There is a wealth and power shift occurring and it will take some time to play out. Until then metals will be the place for safety.
