thanks for the reference
you know more about the environment than I do and while Wind turbines are evolving they rarely seem to be coupled with energy storage systems
the reference with its Solar-molten salt + wind idea seems good
How much of our currently installed Wind capacity can be counted towards satisfying Peak Electricity Demand ? (without storage of course.) = ORG reckons about 8%
so the proposal reckons it can get to 15% (p21) with a lot of interconnections - a Utopia
Gas is good, better than coal and it is only because of dogmatism that the eco-lobby cant accept it as an effective interim and give it some RET credits or a Gas Scheme like QLD mandating x% use
