Correct Pints. Apparently there can be quite a delay between when a company submits an announcement to the ASX and when the announcement is actually released. I imagine that the longer the delay, the more complex the announcement and/or the more requirement for procedural, conformity and legal checks. I guess that simpler announcements can be approved by administration staff whereas more complex/sensitive ones must be run by commercial lawyers, and maybe the ASX doesn't have so many of the latter in their ranks.

In the end, we can all hope and pray that the announcement is of sufficient quality and quantity to warrant such a delay.
