From what I am told as recently as the last 12 hours the ASX is still making sure all boxes are ticked and we might have a little longer to wait. This is indicative of the greater scrutiny now being applied to small caps. This doesn't equate to shoddy practices by our directors who possibly have not had to prepare a submission so extensive previously.
I am currently adding an extension to my house. Although I have engaged good dilligent tradespeople the building surveyor or electrical inspector will ask for small amendments and compliances despite the tradies endeavouring to comply in the first instance. I see something similar playing out as we await the announcement. As a shareholder it gives me some confidence. I have experience in holding shares in small caps run by unscrupulous people, some who are facing the courts right now. Had the regulatory bodies been so dilligent in those cases I and other investors may not have suffered losses to the extent we have, or are facing.
