You touched on this subject the other day suggesting the likes of Adam and Eve not originally having eternal life (bodily) and you supported this by the likes of, if this was so, then why the tree of life.
I'll only cover a brief to consider.
The Bible says, God reveals the end from the beginning, so logic says, what does the Bible say about the end = the beginning.
1 Cor Ch 15 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
"corruptible shall have put on incorruption," -> 1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
So, you could say they are now back to where Adam and Eve began.
However -> Rev 2:7 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 22:17 - And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev ch 22 - And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
So Kam, they have put on immortality, so why do we have the tree of life, river of life still in the picture, based on your claim that I opened this post with?
What you appear to be promoting, that people have life within themselves, re the after life.
If that were the case, why would they need God, hmmmmm
