You do understand that our world is built by science? Our engagement on HC is via science. Every moment of your life is embedded in an act of science.
Science lives and breaths a quest for truth and is ever refining its knowledge base to extract the nth degrees of truth. Sure there are some stuff-ups along the way but don't ever compare it the stuff religion has done. Science is building an understanding of this universe from the building blocks of atoms to the fabric of the universe itself. Is that not paying direct homage to Creation in the best possible way?
I will agree with you that science is a certain kind of truth and has limits just as religion is a certain kind of truth, but every day of your life you put your trust in science countless times over faith or prayer. Surely there is no real separation of honest science and religion that does not contradict proven science?
