'the likes of us" - Those who place their trust in the death/burial/resurrection of Christ believe that the 'now' is a stepping stone to a wonderful eternity where "the likes of you" believe the 'now' is all that there is. So besides the 'now' you have NOTHING to look forward to and if you're right then no-one will know you were. So if the 'now' is all you have then you should, while you can, be out there enjoying your 'now' activities If you're wrong then you already know the drill and if looking for debunks then I'm sure you can do much better than the Pascal theory.
