The subject matter was strong enough to not need voice over. But infrequent and quiet voice over works well if the guy has a good voice - like Russell Crowe.
Sports commentators fancy themselves as the entertainment, but mostly they offer no value. Sometimes I like Warnie, but only occasionally. I want the noise of the game with occasional voice over, but they don't do that. It's bunch of try-hards talking BS.
