In the days of East Lost Hills and the flares eagerly reported on by international posters the company structure was run on a shoestring with the office building sold for capital infusion.
Coalspur if my reading is correct has one employee, a board and some ground drilled and passed over in Canada some twenty years ago when coal was still a sought after energy source.
The operation would appear to still be following Xen's antecedent structure but without as much substance.
