the short answer is they wont get kicked out. cameroon has one the most stable political environments in west africa. The 10% that SDL do not own is held by the locals and the whole reason the drilling was done in the 80's (under the sanction of the current political regime) was to develop resources for the betterment of the nation and it's people. Employment for the local people is only part of the upside here for them. The company will also develop other infrastructure to strengthen the relationship e.g. local nursing/doctors, clean water, roads etc.
