Look up "Australian obesity epidemic" and "obesity and health". Australia is fatter than the average national and fat in unhealthy quantities is considered unattractive by most people.

as for your second point, if you are focussing on a phrase you see as absolute, I agree. Whilst what females and males want and expect out of relationships is changing, I don't believe domination is the goal of most. I however believe the power balance is relationships is increasingly titled towards the female. Very few women raises in western nations will happily be a housewife.
