Solaris Resources (TSX:SLS) has the " Warintza copper project in southeast Ecuador which presently has a resource of 579 MT @ .59% Cu equ ( Ind) & 887 MT .47% cu equ (inf) .They recently commenced a new drilling program to extend the existing orebody. In Jan `24 they arranged a $130mil share placement with the large Chinese mining company Zijin Mining Group Co Ltd. This strategic investment was at a 14% premium to the prevailing share price.Making them a 15% shareholder. Zijin is one of the most successful large miniing companies in the world with operations in 16 countries. This is another sign of the growing profile of Ecuador as an under explored mining destination . The government for many years has put in place very pro-mining policies, which recognises the important role the resources industry will play in the economic and social development of Ecuador. Deteriorating mining conditions in several other South American countries has, in comparison, shone the light on Ecuador as a place that is open for business. Titan is in a strong position with extensive unexplored,100% owned copper,gold& silver acreage. We have the management that is capable of negotiating a lucrative partnership to take our company forward and in doing so, creating substantial shareholder value. Recent copper shortages in the expanded Chinese smelting industry would indicate that more of their companies will be seeking upstream exposure to the metal. Creating a sellers market for the owners of well located copper assets. The ducks are starting to line up for TTM. Especially with the recent surge in the gold & silver price.
