The grades of gold being produced will be about .8 of a gram per tonne. This is not to shabby for a silver producer that is producing silver at the rate of 60grams per tonne on average.
Some producing gold mines in Western australia are producing gold as its main resource at the rate of between 1.2 and 2.4 grams per tonne.
Alcyone is getting gold at grades of .8 of a gram per tonne and that is a by-product.
So really the GOLD by-product is the icing on the very large silver deposit cake.
the gold by-product is reasonable too......
