cuppa--there have certainly been some properties sold at huge discounts--due to forced selling--my understanding is that what was a torrent has significantly eased
however in the scheme of things most properties sell at a much more modest discount.
my point is that a few have made an absolute killing-
as i have posted on here before there are great opportunities to be had
if you think you can wait around and get a nice three bedder on the beachfront at bondi for 50k then you are dreaming
