Just spoke to a mate who moved to gc about 4 years, started his plumbing apprenticeship, his wife works in day care, running Zumba classes at nite.. he called me today and said he s coming back to Melbourne next year... His words were, there's no work, one crane in the skyline and things are very depressed in gc. The Zumba classes have dropped off..the fad is over and he will keep his house and convert to a rental as he has no chance of recouping the purchase price if he sells now...I understand his comments were general in nature but is it that bad in gc?
