This kind of drum beating is just propaganda. No names, no details, just throw away lines. Talk is cheap.
The far more likely result of China's action is that the UN, BIS, IMF and World Bank will have their hands forced and the long talked about global currency reset will be hammered out and introduced. China is pushing them along.
JFI, your perspective is from inside the Stateside fishbowl, where the water has become very murky. The world is MUCH bigger than the US, contrary to the popular opinion of the largely dumbed down, propaganda bombarded population. (your good self excepted of course!)
Mutually assured destruction (MAD) has prevented nuclear war for 70 years. As scary as it is, nuclear devices have proved to be the best deterrent to world wars since WW2.
