rabbitoh, you can largely blame the etf's for absorbing a large amount of capital from investors who would have otherwise bought the share when the etf's didn't exist...HOWEVER I expect when the real mania begins the shares will outstrip gold and investors will be bidding up share prices like there is no tomorrow
