As for gold many "analysts" are saying that its headed down in the near term as the PIIG's will be selling some of their holdings to raise cash.
Long term its looking good as its expected that due to the QE's that's currently happening but not make public that inflation will take hold down the track and sent gold up to another level and possibly be part of a new world currency replacing $US as toilet paper which is where it belongs.
