Really how about the cost then ? Making fresh water from nuclear power would be crazy expensive, particularly in large volumes. You obviously know nothing about the cost of reverse osmosis.
You also don't know that there are renewable energy systems that can now desalinate water.
Solar being forced to cut production is proving how successful it is. It is providing too much power for the network to handle. If we had a progressive federal government we would be working much harder on better legislation, network improvements and storage facilities in order to prevent this curtailment from happening.
