Ah I forgot to tell you. There are people out there that do believe that without gov intervention except perhaps as market regulator and with gold for money (honest money they call it) and with every bank having the right to issue bank notes, competition between them would set interest rates at their natural rate and the economy always at full employment provide, of course, unions don't exist and workers do accept whatever wages the labour market dictates .
However these people do not come with the lunatic idea of central bankers wanting to control the global economy. For them markets when left alone do produce the best possible outcomes, a perfect world.
