Whilst that graph is correct within itself, it is terribly misleading. You forgot to mention, unintentionally or otherwise, that the high of 1980 was the result of the Bunker Hunt brothers buying up all the silver they possibly could, restricting supply and watching the price explode. This means that high was certainly manufactured. Have a quick "Google" of " Bunker Hunt, silver 1980" to learn more. I would urge any casual observer to disregard the high of 1980.
