Here's a worrying issue. If Russia destroys underwater communications, which facilitates $10 Trillion of trade per day, the COMEX could declare a Force Majeure and nullify all options/futures short contracts for Silver. The price of Silver could jump to $100 in $12 daily increments, but my Call Options and CFDs would not pay out. Of course, the banks doing the extreme shorting would survive in this scenario. We could buy Silver stocks instead, but there's no leverage. I guess producers would jump more than explorers but their market caps are already high, so maybe only 3-5 bags each. Looking for leverage, I wonder how CFD providers would treat silver stocks - keep trading as usual?
