IMO our low tax take relative to the OECD average is because the multinationals that dominate our economy are undertaxed due to transfer pricing and debt loading
This IMO contributes significantly to the wealth gap in Aus because the average working class Aussie is overtaxed while the corporates (particularly multinationals ) have too many tax loopholes.
IMO those on minimum wage should not have to pay income tax.
