"To require people to state exactly when the bubble will burst shows a lack of understanding of the problem."

Ok then I assert that all life will be wiped out by an asteroid hitting the planet and housing will no longer be an issue. It may happen tomorrow or it may happen sometime in the next few million years. With out a meaningful time-frame it is useless as while it certainly is a possibility you can't stop doing everything just because something may occur sometime in the future.

"The bubble will burst when the weight of the above factors become too great and the camel's back breaks."

Again another throw away statement. Who is to say how much weight the metaphorical camel can carry?

"No amount of economic modelling can show the timing due to the large number of external unknown factors."

Yet every uber bear here can say with huge clarity what the magnitude of the drop must be when they can't take into account all of the external unknown economic factors.

"What can be determined however is that the above risks are genuine and will increasingly put pressure on Australian house prices until the bubble does burst. "

There may be genuine risks but if they are handled right then large adverse affects can be mitigated.

"At the very best for property investors, there's little / no chance of gains in the medium term."

Big deal we have been through a high growth period it is expected that there will be a period of slowdown - I would expect it will be for the better part of the next decade.
