the guy behind watso in the queue at aldi, had his trolley full of frozen crinkle cut chips - so watso asked if the chips were on special- the response was "no, but they are cheaper than the wholesalers - and better tasting" .. apparently he has a cafe .
1 kg of chips for $1.99 (?) = how many serves of chips at the cafe ?? and what price per serve...watso should have asked him .
anyway, watso never wastes money on a serving of chips from a cafe, or a fast food outlet - as it is a total rip off .
sadly watso can no longer find a fish and chip shop, that sells a good serving of chips for a reasonable price.
ahhh - the days of a good feed of chips for 10c are long gone
