It is not only MrGordon that puts up the "first cause" argument for a God. The granting of an exemption to God to having a cause is especially mystifying as the implication is that this God is the most complex entity in the universe.
It seems that believers are satisfied that the most complex entity can just exist, and is explainable by merely claiming that it has always existed.

I suggest that these believers who claim to know are as ignorant as those who claim not to know.
