what was interesting about the video, was the origins of the global warming idea. it could have been in video number 4 - and the following link expands on it

it seems that it was all started by margaret thatcher - who wanted to get rid of the coal miners, and promote nuclear energy. the burning of coal produces carbon dioxide - but nuclear power does not - but the english wanted the by product of the nuclear power plants (ie for bombs) - but the cost of electricity generated by nuclear power, was 4 times the cost of coal generated power.
thatcher directed funds (scientific funding) - but when john major became pm, the uk government lost interest in the idea of gw - , in 1992, the uk government wanted to close down about 30 underground coal mines - and then dug out the idea of global warming again - ie good for the world to get rid of coal mines
