kevi, i had 30g at the time but my mum was going to put her house on the line for us.. so basically 100% loan and my 30 grand would go into the house during reno's...

when we started talking to aussie home loans, and then comm bank agents, both said things had tightened alot!! saying banks NEEDED 20% deposit or someone going guarantor for home loans to be successful.

i was looking on brisbanes sth side, in and around mt gravatt east. i honestly felt like i and everyone else looking at these houses were getting ripped off.. but people keep throwing money at these houses?? i just couldn't get my head around it..

sure i could move further out and get more bang for buck.. and sure i could start getting stuck in traffic after a 12 hr day.. and then when i finally get home, have to listen to my bogan neighbours fighting, partying, whatever.. no thanks
